Join us for Summer Camp

Summer Creator Camp at METC

Join us for our new Summer Creator Camp at METC and let your creativity fly! We are offering two weeks of Creator Camps, from 9am-2pm . Each day focuses on a different hands-on, creative craft—paper art, woodworking, photography, pottery, and more.  Attend for a single day or receive a discount for joining us all week. Campers will bring home themed projects each day.  Other daily activities include exploration of our museum, outdoor play, and other craft experiences. Campers must bring their own lunch and snack.

August 29-31 Week

Tuesday August 29: Photography

Be inspired by METC’s  historic buildings and learn photography techniques from photographer Stacey Canzonieri. Campers will need to bring a camera, phone, or tablet to use to take pictures. Campers will also decorate a frame for their photography.

Wednesday August 30: Pottery

In collaboration with Madison Mud, campers will learn  hand building techniques to create their own clay pot or vase. Please note, the pots will be kiln-fired after camp and will be available to pick up at a date TBD.
