Woodworking Workshop

Join METC and professional woodworker Tyler Merson on February 26, 2022 from 10am – 2pm for a Woodworking Workshop. One of the earliest methods of furniture construction was inserting a “stake” of wood into a plank to make a bench or chair. Over time, the technology and technique evolved to classic designs such as the “Windsor” chair or Welsh “Stick” chair, we will make a simple, three-legged stool from Pine using a brace, auger bits, and tapered cutters. All tools, materials, and instruction will be provided. Suitable for beginners aged 12 and up. Registration is required for this hands on workshop. Cost for this program ins $50. Register Here:
