Summer Drop In Craft: Hot Air Balloons

Up, up, and away we go at the METC’s Drop-In Craft Day! Join us for an adventure in hot air ballooning where the sky’s the limit. Did you know that the first hot air balloon was made of paper and silk? Come on down to METC’s Education Annex on July 8, from 11am to 3pm to make your own hot air balloon with some of the same supplies and let your creativity take flight! The first passengers to take to the sky were a duck, a sheep, and a rooster, but you can bring whoever you’d like as you depart on your crafting voyage!
This program is free but pre-registration is recommended as supplies are limited! Visit the museum after creating your hot air balloon craft on July 8 and the entire family can visit the museum for a discounted rate of $5!
