An Evening of Celebration
On October 17, The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts hosted its annual fundraising gala Taverns Pubs & Revelry at the Community House. The event was a celebration of the Museum’s ongoing contribution to education, local history, conservation and cultural activities. And what a celebration it was!!! The party was our own version of a 19th century “tavern” including great food, music, dancing and lots of “merrymaking”. The festivities included a local New Jersey craft brewery River Horse Brewing Company as well as enjoyable music by The Ballycastle Band!
We wish to thank everyone who was a part of this enjoyable evening, and appreciate all those who continue to support METC’s ongoing mission of education, conservation, and interpretation of New Jersey history. For over 45 years, the Museum has stood as an anchor to the local arts and cultural community, never losing sight of the mission of telling the stories of the early New Jersey settlers. We are grateful to all our donors, participants, vendors and advertisers in our local community who were a part of this event and help us continue to be a constant resource for learning, research, history… and yes merrymaking!!!
