How did New Jersey’s early settlers survive during the long winter months? This exhibit tried to answer this question through presenting descriptions of life found in diary entries of early residents of New Jersey. Visitors were able to learn how early settlers kept warm, traveled to visit neighbors, and entertained themselves when snow fell for days.
