Drop in Craft – Guatemalan Worry Dolls

Off School for the day? No worries – come join us at the METC Education Annex for our FREE Drop in Craft. We’ll be learning about and making Guatemalan Worry Doll, also known as Trouble Dolls. These pocket-sized friends are traditionally made from leftover textiles and are dressed in bright, traditional Mayan colors. Learn the fascinating history and craft of this folk tradition while making your own doll out of a colorful array of fabric, yarn, and other materials.

Crafts are leveled to be appropriate for ages 6 and up.
