DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, participants will work with a Book Arts Artist to create their own book structure commonly known as a “squash” book or as an “explosion” book. This dynamic book will be the center of your collection because when finished\, it folds flat and ties shut\, but when opened\, it unfolds in several directions. This workshop on February 22 at 1PM is open to adults (15 and over). Participants\, please bring a heavy book (like a textbook) in a plastic bag to use as a weight on the book as it is being constructed. All other materials and tools will be provided. This workshop is limited to 10 adults. Registration closes February 19. 								\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n																														\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n									About the Artist: Book Arts Roundtable artist Catherine Olivier is a children’s book author and illustrator with a long career in plush toy marketing and design.
