SUMMARY:After Hours Tour of Bar 19: Process
DESCRIPTION:Have you visited a museum and wondered how the artist did that? Every artist and every piece of art has a beginning but often ends up somewhere else. It’s called PROCESS. \nJoin us on February 20th at 7PM for a guided gallery tour by Book Arts Roundtable Coordinator and one of the book artists whose work is part of this year’s exhibit\, Chris Schorr. Chris\, a longtime Madison resident\, has been a member of the Book Arts Roundtable of New Jersey for more than a decade. She is familiar with each artist whose work is part of BOOKED 19\, is passionate about the book arts\, and has been active in the process of organizing this exhibit.

SUMMARY:Adult Book Making Workshop with Catherine Oliver

Participants\, please bring a heavy book (like a textbook) in a plastic bag to use as a weight on the book as it is being constructed. All other materials and tools will be provided. This workshop is limited to 10 adults. Registration closes February 19. \n \nAbout the Artist: Book Arts Roundtable artist Catherine Olivier is a children’s book author and illustrator with a long career in plush toy marketing and design.
