SUMMARY:Afternoon with an Artist: Kids Edition
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special event at METC that brings together history\, food\, architecture and conversation.  Inspired by our Main Gallery exhibition In the Kitchen\, Chef Marika Villik\, a world class Executive Chef from the Park Avenue Club and founder of StillFire\,  is collaborating with us for this exclusive pop-up event.  Sourcing local ingredients and delving into the history of food\, Chef Marika will create a special menu that gives a nod to the traditional flavors from history. 								\n				\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n									Gather with a unique group of people in our beautiful\, historic museum for an evening of exquisitely crafted food to pay homage to the craftspeople\, farmers\, artisans\, and cooks who set the tables of the past. All guests will be immersed in the museum’s stunning architecture\, intimate galleries\, and behind-the-scenes spaces with a private tour\, champagne\, and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres.  An exquisitely unique menu by Chef Marika will follow in our historic Education Annex across the street. This is an invitation to seduce your senses and discover the world around you through cuisine\, culture\, and community. Seating is very limited at $250 per plate.
