SUMMARY:19th Century New Jersey Women Photographers: Exceptional Artists in a Mostly Male Profession
DESCRIPTION:On January 27\, 2022\, Gary Saretzky will discuss female photographers of the 19th century on Zoom at 6:30pm. In the 19th century\, of more than 3\,000 professional photographers in New Jersey\, only about 3% were women.  Like their male colleagues\, they provided their communities with daguerreotypes\, ambrotypes\, tintypes\, cabinet cards\, and other types of photographs. This program is free for members; $10 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required for access to the Zoom Link. Register here. \nAbout Gary Saretzky\nGary D.
