SUMMARY:The Washingtons at METC
DESCRIPTION:Extend your Revolutionary experience by joining Glenn Siner and Sandy Spector as they share an intimate look at the lives of George and Martha Washingon at 1PM in the Trustee Library. Experience the human side of George and Martha and gain insight into their marriage during this half hour scripted conversation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the Washingtons. \nFree with Museum admission. \nGlenn Siner is a Rhode Island based historian\, interpreter\, and recently retired high school history teacher. He has been a Revolutionary War reenactor since 2006 and enjoys bringing both sides of George to life for guests\, showing General Washington as a person – who he was when not put on a pedestal\, as well as who he was as the commander of the Continental Army.  \nSandy Spector spends most of her time researching and interpreting Martha Washington and has been portraying Martha – alone or with George – in numerous states and venues for the past 12 years. She brings Martha to life through formal presentations and informal visits for all ages through emotional depth\, humanity\, and a sense of humor.  Learn more at www.themrswashington.com
