SUMMARY:Needle Sculpting After School Program
DESCRIPTION:Are you curious about needle felting? In this free spirited workshop kids will have lots of fun learning the basics of “sculpting with fiber” in this 4 week after school program starting April 27\, 2022. Come prepared to use your imagination and create your very own fuzzy animal to take home. Beginners are welcome\, however this class is not suitable for those with wool allergies and is best for ages 10 and up. Cost is $50 per child. Pre-registration for this program is required as space is limited. Click here to register! \nJosie is a textile artist with a fascination for fibers\, quilts\, fabrics and color. She combines these various materials with texture to create one of a kind art scarves\, wall art and small accessories. Josie’s skillset as an artist incorporates her inspiration from nature which she not only channels into various art forms but through teaching others through workshops. \nFunding has been made possible in part by funds from Morris Arts through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/ Department of State\, a partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts
